New Student Orientation–required for all incoming first-year and transfer students–assists students and their family members in successfully transitioning to Niner Nation. Led by a team of dedicated staff and student leaders, NSO prepares students and families to succeed at UNC Charlotte by understanding academic expectations, developing connections with their peers and learning about important campus processes.

Prior to attending NSO, students will complete their Pre-Orientation Checklist, which includes Reserving Your Session, New Student Modules and Virtual Advising & Registration.
